What do I like about classic car shows? They turn back time. And McKinney’s July 4th Classic Car Show did just that. Here are a few pics along with a big high-five to the participants, the show-goers, and The City of McKinney for putting together a nice event on our nations birthday. Enjoy!

Well, maybe not. But somebody that sure looks and sounds like Elvis will be there.
That someone is Elvis impersonator Carleton Hurdle.
Carleton loved listening to Elvis songs growing up. Little did he know at the time, but one day his admiration for the king of rock ‘n’ roll would turn into a tribute to the man and his music.
He was influenced early on by gospel music, just like Elvis was – so it’s no surprise his first performance was at a church banquet. Later while attending Oral Roberts University on a basketball scholarship, ya – I said basketball, Carleton was a song leader at chapel services. The students always commented about his Elvis-like sound. But it was really just Carleton being himself.
