Creekview Estates is a D.R. Horton master planned community in northwest McKinney. Located off of Lake Forest and U.S. 380 with easy access to Hwy 75, the North Dallas Tollway, and Highway 121, these McKinney homes are affordable and built with efficiency and uncompromising quality.
Housing: As if single-story ranch and two-story multi-level elevations wasn’t enough, these single family homes feature exterior and interior options to make them one of a kind. Still in the developer control period and in close-out phase, homes are priced between $213K – $325K. Floor plan options range in size from 1,887 – 3,795 square feet.
Restaurants & Shopping: A variety of restaurants and shopping are readily available. In addition to a small shopping center that includes a pizza restaurant, Chinese cuisine, a doughnut shop, convenience store, storage units and a dentist, there’s major medical office construction underway, anchored by Baylor Hospital that’s located less than a block away across U.S. 380. The area around Creekview Estates is being heavily developed with both retail and non-retail and will soon be unrecognizable.
Family & Fitness: Creekview Estates has a beautiful lake stocked with fish and a fountain that’s lit at night. There’s a walking, jogging, and bike trail surrounded by mature trees that shield the neighborhood from Lake Forest Drive. It has a nice secluded feel and is a short distance from Bonnie Wenk park: a 250 acre park located along the Wilson Creek greenbelt which features a dog park, over a mile of concrete trails, restrooms, onsite parking, an amphitheater, lake, and connects to the overall hike and bike trail system along Wilson Creek.
Quirks: A short walk through a wooded area to the south will put you at Cockrill Middle School, a nice convenience if you have children attending. But Boyd High School, less than a quarter mile southeast, won’t be your teenagers high school due to current districting. McKinney North, some four miles northeast, will be. And the main entrance is the only way in or out of the sub-division.
Schools: Creekview Estates is part of the McKinney Independent School District: McClure Elementary School – Grades K-5, Cockrill Middle School – Grades 6-8, McKinney North High School – Grades 9-12.
Major Street Boundaries: U.S. 380 and Lake Forest Dr.
It takes only a short drive into the main entrance to discover a sense of community at Creekview Estates. These homes with their master bedroom retreats, gourmet kitchens and numerous options have become many peoples dream home at an affordable price. If you desire custom architecture, professionally landscaped yards, a multitude of energy saving features all wrapped in a family-friendly environment, Creekview Estates might be the quaint little McKinney neighborhood your looking for.
